The Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Shri Ram Nath Thakur) stated that there is no such proposal under consideration. However, daily wholesale prices of agricultural produce are reported on the AGMARKNET portal and the eNam portal and mobile app, freely accessible to farmers. The prices of subsidized fertilizers are fixed by the Government, while the prices of seeds, pesticides, and non-subsidized fertilizers are determined by market demand and supply. The distribution network of private players varies from region to region.

(a) whether the Government proposes to set up Kisan Bhawans or to implement any
such other scheme in every Panchayat across the country to provide a single window
facility to the farmers; and
(b) if so, whether the government proposes to provide information regarding real-time
market price for farmer’s produce in addition to the sale of fertilizers, seeds and
pesticides, at there Kisan Bhawans and to further link it with the e-NAM Portal as well?
