(a) whether the Government has received any proposals for various social welfare schemes in Tamil Nadu, if so, the details thereof; and

(a) & (b): The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has received proposals under the following social welfare schemes in Tamil Nadu during the financial year 2024-25 and2025-26.

Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY) v.

Centrally Sponsored Scheme for implementation of the Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955 and the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act,

Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT students. vii.

Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT students. viii.

Top class Education in colleges for oBC, EBC and DNT students ix.

STATUS OF THE APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSALS RECEIVED IN MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAy) Under Grants-in-aid component, Rs. 96.74 crore and Rs. 16.59 crore have been released during fi nancial y ears 2024 -25 and 2025 -26 respecti vely.

Under Adarsh Gram component, Rs. 223.25 crore has been released during financial year 2024-2s.

Under Hostel component, Rs. 1.875 crore has been released during financial year 2024-

25. ll. Under Pre-Matric Scholarship for SCs and others, the Project Appraisal Committee

(PAC) have approved Central share of Rs. 62.25 crore and Rs. 9l .38 crore for academic y ears 2024-25 and 2025 -26 respectively. lll. Under Post-Matric Scholarship for SCs, the Project Appraisal Committee (PAC) have approved Central share of Rs. 826.52 crore and Rs. 852.00 crore for academic years 2024-25 and 2025 -26 respectively.

lv. Under Integrated Programme for Senior Citizens (IPSTC) component of AVYAY,32 new Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in financial year 2024-25 and 4 new NGOs in financial year 2025-26 have been selected for running and maintenance of Senior Citizen Homes.

Under Centrally Sponsored Scheme for implementation of the Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955 and the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Rs.32.18 crore has been released for financial year 2024-25 and Rs.83.51 crore has been approved for financial year2025-26.

vl. Under Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT students, Rs. 23.63 crore has been released for financial year 2024-25. For financial year 2025-26, SNA balance of Rs.2.64 crore is lying with State Govemment. The same has been communicated to the State Government.

vlr. Under Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT students, Rs. 119.37 crore has been released for financial year 2024-25 and Rs. 29.00 crore has been sanctioned for financial year 2025-26. vlll. Under Top Class Education in Colleges for OBC, EBC and DNT Students, Rs. l.4l crore has been released for financial year 2024-25.

Under National Fellowship for OBC Students, Rs. 5.83 crore and Rs. 1.75 crore have been released for financial year 2024-25 and2025-26 respectively. x.

Under NAPDDR, Rs. 3.92 crore has been released for State Action Plan for financial year 2024-25. xi. Under Accessible India Campaign (AIC) & Creation of Barrier Free Environment

(CBFE), Rs.27.62 crore was approved during 2024-2025. xii.

UnderADIP scheme, Rs.4.16 crore and Rs. 1.96 crore have been released during year 2024-25 and 2025 -26 respectively. ***** --li-
