Shri Vamsi Krishna Gaddam: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) the details of sports infrastructure projects sanctioned in Peddapalli, Telangana under the Khelo India Scheme since its inception, including funds allocated, released and the current status of each project; (b) whether the Government has received proposals from the State Government of Telangana regarding new infrastructure projects or requests for the release of pending funds under the said scheme to Telangana State; and (c) if so, the details of such proposals along with the action taken, timeline for project execution and fund disbursal? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS { DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA } (a) The details of the sports infrastructure projects approved and their sanctioned cost, funds released, and their physical and financial progress under the Khelo India Scheme, across the country, including in the State of Telangana, are available in the public domain on the dashboard of the Ministry at https://mdsd.kheloindia.gov.in. (b) and (c) Yes, Sir. Under the “Creation and upgradation of sports infrastructure” component of the Khelo India Scheme, this Ministry has received following proposals from the State Government of Telangana: i) Construction of Multipurpose Sports Complex (Stadium) at Raigiri Village, Bhuvanagiri Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District; ii) Construction of Swimming Pool (All-Weather) at Bhongir, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District; Page 1 of 2iii) Laying of Synthetic Athletic Track (400M, 8 Lane) at Raigiri Village, Bhuvanagiri Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District; iv) Construction of Synthetic Athletic Track (8 Lane) with Fencing, Gallery, Washrooms, etc. at Palamuru University Campus, Mahabubnagar; v) Construction of Multipurpose Hall at Satavahana University, Malkapur Road, Karimnagar; vi) Development of Archery Range at Telangana Sports School, Hakimpet, Thumkunta, Medchal Malkajgiri District; vii) Construction of Squash Court at L.B. Stadium, Hyderabad; viii) Development of Synthetic Hockey Field at KISCE, Telangana Sports School, Hakimpet, Thumkunta, Medchal Malkajgiri District; ix) Renovation of Hockey Ground 1 at Gachibowli Sports Complex, Hyderabad; x) Development of Natural Football Field at L.B. The timeline of completion of infrastructure projects sanctioned under the Scheme is two years from the date of its sanction. The responsibility of executing the projects rests with the grantee.
