GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 1166 ANSWERED ON- 10.02.2026 Status of corporate e-govern ance in Himachal Pradesh 1166 # Shri Harsh Mahajan: Will the Minister of Corporate Affairs be pleased to state: (a) the major digital services being provided to companies and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) registered in the State of Himachal Pradesh through e- governance initiatives; (b) the increase recorded during the last three years in the utilisation of e- governance based corporate services in the State of Himachal Pradesh; and (c) the specific steps taken by Government to strengthen digital compliance, technical support and grievance redressal mechanisms in the State? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS; MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS (SHRI HARSH MALHOTRA) (a)&(b) Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has been operating end-to-end e-Governance projects to improve ease of doing business and enhance corporate governance in India. MCA-21 Project has been implemented for registry, company incorporation related services and filing services across the Country. The MCA21 System provides the stakeholders convenient, easy to use, secured access and delivery of all MCA services with improved speed and certainty. The total number of Indian Companies & LLPs availing the Services of MCA21 portal in Himachal Pradesh are as under: Financial Year Total No. of Indian Companies & LLPs Registered in Himachal Pradesh 2022-23 719 2023-24 904 2024-25 922 (c) A helpdesk has been established to address stakeholder grievances related to the MCA21 portal. This support mechanism is operational through the MCA website and a toll-free number, ensuring seamless access for stakeholders across various locations, including Himachal Pradesh. ****
