SMT.SANDHYARAY: SHRIDAMODAR AGRAWAL: SHRILAVUSRIKRISHNADEVARAYALU: SMT.MALARAJYALAXMI SHAH: SHRIPPCHAUDHARY: SMT.VIJAYLAKSHMI DEVI: SHRICAPTAINBRIJESH CHOWTA: SMT.KAMLESH JANGDE: SHRIALOK SHARMA: SHRIYOGENDER CHANDOLIA: SHRIPARIMALSUKLABAIDYA: Will the Ministerof HEALTH AND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleasedtostate: (a) the number of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) established in the country, State-wise and district wise, particularly in Assam, Madhya Pradesh, NCT of Delhi, Pali Lok Sabha Constituency in Rajasthan and Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka along with the key objectivesbehindtheir establishment; (b) the range of healthcare services providedat these Ayushman Arogya Mandirs; (c) the status of progress of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across the country, State-wise particularly inRajasthan, State-wise anddistrict-wise inAssam and Madhya Pradeshinterms of completion,operationalization andpatientfootfall,State-wise; (d) the number and type of healthcare functionaries deployed at these centres along with the responsibilities of the said functionaries, State-wise, particularly in the above mentioned locations; (e) the funds allocated and released for AAMs during the last three years, State-wise and district-wise including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Dakshina Kannada Lok SabhaConstituency; and (f) the amount of funds allocated and spent in various districts of Assam during the last five years? ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATE IN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAO JADHAV) (a) to (f): As reported by States/UTs on Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) portal, State/UT- wise number of AAMs operationalized across the country, as on 15.07.2025, is enclosed as Annexure-I. The district-wise number of AAMs operationalized in Assam, Madhya Pradesh, NCT of Delhi is enclosed as Annexure-II. AAMs in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka is452andfor PaliLokSabha Constituency of Rajasthan is418. 1Through AAM, comprehensive primary healthcare is provided by strengthening Sub Health Centres (SHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs). These AAMs provide preventive, promotive, rehabilitative and curative care for an expanded range of services encompassing reproductive and child healthcare services, Communicable diseases, Non-communicable diseases andotherhealthissues. Wellness-relatedactivities like Yoga,cycling,andmeditation are also conducted in AAMs. State/UT-wise footfall recorded on these AAMs including in Rajasthan,AssamandMadhyaPradesh,ason15.07.2025, isenclosed asAnnexure-I. For SHC-AAM, operational guidelines for AAMs provide for Community Health Officer (CHO), Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) andMultipurpose worker -Male alongwith ASHAs in the catchment area. For PHC-AAM, the norms provide for Medical Officer, staff nurses, pharmacist,HealthAssistants andLab technician. Details of State Program Implementation Plan (SPIP) approvals and expenditure for AAMs, State/UT-wise including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Karnataka under National HealthMission (NHM) from FY2022-23 toFY2024-25 isattachedat Annexure-III.
