STATUS OF WDC‑PMKSY PROJECTS IN ANDHRA PRADESH
2027. Dr. BYREDDY SHABARI:
Will the Minister of JAL SHAKTI be pleased to state:
(a) the list of watershed development projects approved under the Watershed Development Component of
Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (WDC‑PMKSY) along with the date of approval for each project,
district-wise in Andhra Pradesh;
(b) the current implementation status for each approved project (such as planning, under construction,
completed) including the number and type of infrastructure assets created (such as check dams, farm ponds,
nala bunds, percolation tanks) in each district;
(c) the funds sanctioned, released and utilised, under these projects along with a breakdown of fund utilisation
according to infrastructure type, district-wise;
(d) the number of beneficiaries (small/marginal farmers, landless, etc.) covered under each project and the
details of incentives provided, district-wise;
(e) whether geo-tagging has been completed for the infrastructure constructed under these projects and the
percentage verified and if so, the details thereof; and
(f) the number and details of project proposals pending for approval along with the reasons for delay, if any,
district-wise in Andhra Pradesh?

(a) The district-wise list of watershed development projects in Andhra Pradesh, approved under the Watershed
Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana 2.0 (WDC- PMKSY 2.0) for the period
2021-26 along with the date of approval for each project, is given at Annexure-I.
(b) All WDC-PMKSY 2.0 projects in Andhra Pradesh are in advance stage of implementation. District-wise
details of assets created under WDC-PMKSY 2.0 in Andhra Pradesh is given at Annexure -II.
(c) The district-wise details of sanctioned WDC-PMKSY 2.0 project cost, funds released and utilized in
Andhra Pradesh is given at Annexure -III.
(d) The project-wise details of number of beneficiaries (small/marginal farmers, landless, etc.) covered under
each project under WDC-PMKSY 2.0 are given as Annexure-IV.
1(e) The geo-tagging has been completed for 100% of the assets constructed under WDC-PMKSY 2.0
projects.
(f) For the approved period of WDC-PMKSY 2.0 (up to March, 2026), no project proposal is pending for
approval in Andhra Pradesh.
