(a) the number of nurseries established for production of Quality Planting Materials (QPM)
under Agroforestry component of Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (PMRKVY)
including small, medium and hi-tech nurseries, during the last five years in the country, year-
wise, State-wise and District-wise for Andhra Pradesh including Kakinada;
(b) the details of funds allocated, released and utilised for establishment of such nurseries
during the said period, year-wise, State-wise and District-wise for Andhra Pradesh including
Kakinada;
(c) the number of farmers benefited under the Agroforestry component of PMRKVY during
the last five years in the country, year-wise, State-wise and District-wise for Andhra Pradesh
including Kakinada;
(d) the number of AICRP centres on Agroforestry established in the country, State-wise
and District-wise particularly for Andhra Pradesh;
(e) whether the Government has issued any guidelines for nursery registration and
accreditation; and
(f) if so, the number of nurseries registered and accredited thereunder during the last five
years, year-wise, State-wise and District-wise for Andhra Pradesh including Kakinada?

(a) to (c ): To promote Agroforestry, Government of India is implementing Centrally
Sponsored Scheme of Agroforestry under Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana
(PMRKVY) since 2023-24. As per reports received from the States/UTs, the details of nursery
established, funds released and farmers benefited State-wise including Andhra Pradesh is
given at Annexure-I. District wise information is not maintained in the Ministry.(d): 26 AICRP Centres on Agroforestry have so far been established in the country. List
of these AICRP Centres is at Annexure-II. In state of Andhra Pradesh presently there is no
AICRP Centre on Agroforestry .
(e) & (f): A Protocol for Accreditation of Agroforestry Nurseries has been framed by the
Government in 2024. A total of 285 Nurseries have been accredited under the Nursery
Accreditation protocol as on 31.10.2025. List of the nurseries accredited is at Annexure III.Annexure- I
