Parliament Question: Water Conservation Projects in Hazaribagh

Shri MANISH JAISWAL: Will the Minister of JAL SHAKTI be pleased to state: (a) the number of projects sanctioned in respect of Hazaribagh Lok Sabha Constituency for rainwater harvesting, restoration of ponds and water conservation; (b) the expenditure incurred thereon so far; and (c) the number of projects completed and the current status of pending projects? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR JAL SHAKTI (SHRI RAJ BHUSHAN CHOUDHARY) (a) to (c) Under the Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari (JSJB) initiative, the data available with Ministry of Jal Shakti is maintained district-wise and not Lok Sabha Constituency-wise. Hazaribagh Lok Sabha Constituency in the State of Jharkhand falls under two districts, namely Hazaribagh and Ramgarh. The district wise details of artificial groundwater recharge and storage structures including rainwater harvesting, restoration of ponds and water conservation are available at JSJB portal (https://jsjb.mowr.gov.in/). *****
