SHRI VAMSI KRISHNA GADDAM: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) the details of Youth hostels established/functioning in the country under the Youth Hostel Scheme, State/UT-wise including Telangana; (b) the details of funds allocated, released along with the year of commencement and the current status of each project; (c) whether the Government proposes to establish new Youth Hostels in Telangana, if so, the details of such proposals and the action taken thereon; and (d) whether the Government proposes to establish Youth Hostel in Pedappalli considering its historical and cultural importance and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS [DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA] a) The details of Youth hostels established/ functioning in the country under the Youth Hostel Scheme, State/ UT-wise including Telangana, is at Annexure A. Page 1 of 5(b) At present, all the projects have been finished and the year of commencement can be seen at Annexure A. Funds were allocated in different year as per projection by the Government construction agency.
