Ms. No. 169, Planning, Development and Special Initiatives (ST.1), 1st December 2023, கார்த்திகக 15, சோபகிருது, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2054.] No. SRO B-12/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Statistics Service (Section 26A in Volume-II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

Amendment In the said Special Rules, in rule 4, in the TABLE, against the entry “Assistant Director of Statistics” in column

(1) and the corresponding entry “Direct recruitment” in column (2) thereof, for item 2 including the proviso there under in column (3), the following item shall be substituted, namely:- “2. (i) Must hold a First Class Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics with not less than 60% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA); or

(ii) Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Applied Economics or Applied Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Business Economics or Operations Research or Mathematical Economics or Econometrics.” Amendments to the Special Rules for the post of Assistant Statistical Investigator in Department of Economics and Statistics for the Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service.

Ms. No. 103, Planning, Development and Special Initiatives (ST.3), 2nd September 2023, ஆவணி 16, சோபகிருது, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2054.] No. SRO B-13/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules in Class XLIII in Part-II of the Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service (Section 13 in Volume-III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

Amendments In the said Special Rules, in rule 4, In the TABLE, against the category “Assistant Statistical Investigator” in column (1), -

(1) against the entry “Direct recruitment” in column (2) thereof, for item 1 including the proviso in column (3) thereof the following item shall be substituted, namely:- “1. Must hold a Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics;

and”;

(2) against the entry “Recruitment by transfer” in column (2), for item 1 in column (3) thereof, the following item shall be substituted, namely:- “1.
