S.O. 4354(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 read with Section 8of the Pre-
conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994, the Central
Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification No. S.O. 85 (E), dated 5th
February, 1997, issued by Government of India, in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, namely:
2. In the said notification,under heading "appointed under clause (e) of sub-section (2) of Section 7",
for serial numbers 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted,
namely -

9. Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma, Chairman and MD of Pratiksha Hospitals. Member

5. In terms of Section 11(1) of the Pre-conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex
Selection) Act, 1994 read with regulation 5 of the Central Supervisory Board (Transaction of Business)
Regulation, 1999, Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), Government of Haryana shall cease to be the
Special Invitee in the Central Supervisory Board.
