The Ministry of Jal Shakti (Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation) issued Notification S.O. 4675(E) in New Delhi on October 14, 2025. This notification, exercising powers under sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Dam Safety Act, 2021 (41 of 2021), amends the previous notification S.O. 3395(E) of July 24, 2025.
The amendments in the table of the said notification are as follows:
1. For serial number 11, the following is substituted:
* "(11) Director, Central Water and Power Research Station, Pune, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India; Member, ex-officio".
2. In serial number 13, item (ii) is replaced with:
* "(ii) Prof. Yogendra Singh, Department of Earthquake Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee; Member".

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th October, 2025
S.O. 4675(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Dam Safety Act,
2021 (41 of 2021), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 3395(E), dated the 24th July, 2025, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table,-
(i) for serial number 11 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted,
namely:-
“(11) Director, Central Water and Power Research Station, Pune, Department of Water Member, ex-
Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, officio”
