Short title and Commencement. - (1) This order may be called the Public Utility Services (Eighth Order) 2024. (2) It shall come into force on the 15th day of June, 2024. 2. The Central Government hereby declares the services engaged in the ‘Banking’ industry, to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a further period of six months with effect from 15th June, 2024.
