खंड (vi) के परंतुक द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, जनम्नजलजखत आिेि िारी करती ह,ै िो इस प्रकार ह:ै-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th June, 2024
S.O. 2251(E).—Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the publicinterest so requires that the
services of the industry engaged in the processing orproduction or distribution of fuel gases (coal gas, natural gas and
the like), which iscovered under item 29 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), to be
a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act;
And whereas the Central Government has declared the said industryto be public utility service for the
purposes of the said Act for a period of six monthswith effect from the 9th November, 2023 vide notification of the
Government ofIndia in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O. 4879(E), dated the 9th November, 2023;
And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that public interestrequires the extension of the public
utility service status to the said industry for afurther period of six months;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section
2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of1947), the Central Government hereby issues the following order as
follows: -
ORDER
1. Short title and Commencement.- (1) Thisorder may be called thePublic Utility Services (Sixth Order) 2024
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. The Central Government hereby declares the services engaged in theprocessing or production or distribution of fuel
gases (coal gas, natural gas and thelike) to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a periodof six
months with effect from the date of publication of this notification.
