के संबंध में भी जवचार दकया जाएगा, परंतु यह तब जब महाजनदिे ालय - सदस्ट् य ।
दक उसके द्वारा की गई ऐसी अहकच या पात्रता सेवा, समूह ‘क’ जवभागीय पुजष्ट सजमजत (पुजष्ट पर
अपेजित अहकच या पात्रता सेवा के आध ेसे अजधक से या दो जवचार करने के जलए) जो जनम् नजलजखत से जमल
वष च से, इनमें से जो भी कम हो, कम न हो और उन्होंने कर बनेगी:

कानूनी संगठनों के ऐसे अजधकारी :
(क) (i) जो मूल काडर या जवभाग में जनयजमत आधार

(ii) जजन्होंने मूल काडर या जवभाग में वेतन मैररक्स में
स्ट्तर-9 (53100-167800 रुपये) या वेतन मैररक्स म ें

जनयजमत आधार पर जनयुजि के पिात् उस श्रेणी में दो
वष चकी जनयजमत सेवा की हो, और
(ख) जो जनम्नजलजखत िैजिक अहतच ाएं और अनुभव रखते
हों :
(i) दकसी मान्यताप्राप्त जवश्वजवद्यालय या संस्ट् थान स े
व् यावसाजयक जचदकत् सा में न् यूनतम चार वषच की अवजध की
स्ट् नातक जडग्री;
(ii) दकसी मान् यता प्राप्त संस्ट् थान या अस्ट् पताल म ें

रटप्प ण 1: प्रजतजनयुजक् त की अवजध, जजसमें केन्रीय
सरकार के उसी या दकसी अन् य सगं ठन या जवभाग में इस
जनयुजक् त स े ठीक पहले धाररत दकन् हीं अन् य संवगच-बाह्य
पदों पर प्रजतजनयुजक् त की अवजध है, साधारणतया तीन
वष चसे अजधक नहीं होगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th March, 2022
G.S.R. 196(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the
Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the
post of Occupational Therapist Grade-I in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Institute of
Psychiatry, Kanke, Ranchi, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare, Central Institute of Psychiatry, Kanke, Ranchi, Occupational Therapist Grade-I (Group ‘A’
Post) Recruitment Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix.- The number of the said post, its
classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of
the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.- The method of recruitment, age-limit,
qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of
the said Schedule.
4. Disqualification.- No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible
under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there
are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to
do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union
Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or
category of persons.
6. Saving.- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes,
the Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the
Central Government from time to time in this regard.

cadre or department; and
(b) possessing the following educational
qualifications and experience:
(i) Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy
of minimum four years duration from a
recognised University or institute;
(ii) two years experience as Occupational
Therapist in a recognised institutes or hospitals.

(c) (i) Diploma in Occupational Therapy of
minimum two years duration from a recognised
University or institute;
(ii) Four years experience as Occupational
Therapist in a recognised institute or hospitals.
Note 1: Period of deputation including period
of deputation in another Ex-cadre post held
immediately preceding this appointment in the
same or some other organisation or department
of the Central Government shall ordinarily not
exceed three years.
Note 2: The maximum age-limit for
appointment by deputation shall be not
exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date
of the receipt of applications.
