GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT R&B – Buildings – Construction of Seed Processing Plant / Godown at Nagavaram, Wanaparthy Mandal (site location at Km 3/2-4 on Wanaparthy – Pebbair road Survey No. 86 beside APTWR school for Girls at Wanaparthy in Mahaboobnagar District – Extension of time for the Construction of Seed Plant / Godown – Complete the work with in Five months - Accorded – Orders - Issued. TRANSPORT, ROADS AND BUILDINGS (B.II) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt No. 100 Dated:01.02.2012 Read the following:- 1) From Sri Dr. Mallu Ravi, Ex-MLA, Jadcherla, Lr.Dt.18.11.2011 along with letter of M/s Sri Sai Constructions addressed to the E-in-C(R&B), Buildings. 2) From the E-in-C(R&B) Buildings, Hyd., Lr.No. TA9/AEE4/ 18969/2009, Dt. 16.01.2012. *** ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, Sri Sai Constructions has requested for extension of time till 31.03.2012 for the construction of Seed Plant/Godown at Wanaparthy due to various reasons. 2) In the reference 2nd read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), Buildings, Hyderabad has opined that revoking cancellation of work and extending time is not desirable in the interest of the work. 3) Government after careful examination of the matter have observed that the estimate contract value of the work is based on common SSR of 2008 – 09. If the scheduled work is entrusted to another Contractor re tendering with revised SSR, there will be financial loss to Government. Also, the Contractor has filed WP in Hon’ble High Court recently. Further, the revised Estimates sent to Agriculture Department have not yet been approved. If the scheduled work is entrusted another Contractor, it will be completed by 31.08.2012 as per the time frame fixed by Agriculture & Co operation Department and thereby a lot of time will be wasted and the purpose will not be served. Therefore, Government have decided that the orders issued canceling the subject work are revoked and the Contractor is given another opportunity which is final, with a direction to complete the work within Five Months, so as to save time and money. 4) Accordingly, the Government hereby order for extension of time for the Construction of Seed Plant / Godown and complete the work with in Five months to Sri Sai Constructions. 5) The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), Buildings, Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
