ORDER: Whereas, it has been made to appear that Sri A. Satynarayana, the then Assistant Director (Mines & Geology) now retired, while serving in the Department of Mines & Geology, Ananthapur during May, 2009 has failed to prevent the illegal procurement of Stone & Metal and Limestone slabs by the stone crushers and Limestone polishing units in his jurisdictions. 2. Now, therefore, sanction is accorded under sub-clause (i) of clause (b) of sub-rule(2) of Rule 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980 to initiate departmental proceedings against the said Sri A.Satynarayana, the then Assistant Director (Mines & Geology) Ananthapur now retired. 3. It is further directed that the said departmental proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the procedure laid down in Rule 20 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Service (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991, by the Principal Secretary to Government, Industries & Commerce Department, Andhra Pradesh Secretariat, Hyderabad.
