ORDER:
In the references second to sixth read above, orders were issued nominating
Officers of Finance Department as members of various Autonomous
Bodies/Institutions/ Corporations.
2. In the reference first read above, the General Administration (Spl.A) Department
has issued orders for allocation of subjects among the Principal Secretary/Secretaries to
Government of the Finance Department.
3. Consequent on transfer of certain Secretaries and promotion of certain Officers in
Finance Department, the following orders are hereby issued nominating Officers of the
Finance Department as members of various Autonomous Bodies/ Institutions/
Corporations as shown in the annexure to this order.
4. The Officers are requested to attend the respective Board meetings regularly and
represent the policy stance of the Finance Department. They are requested to ensure that
the Audited Accounts of the respective corporation are approved by the general body
and sent to Government within six months of the close of every financial year. When
there are arrears, the Board must draw up a programme to finalize the Accounts as early
as possible.
5. The Officers concerned shall ensure that wherever any organisation seeks to take
any decision that has major policy implications or financial commitment or refers to
Government for approval of any major policy decisions or seeks relaxation of existing
Rules the same may be brought to the notice of the concerned Principal Secretary
/Secretary of the concerned Department as well as the Principal Finance Secretary.
6. The Officers are requested to furnish the half yearly status report on the
Organization which they are nominated to the concerned Secretary / Principal Secretary
to Government in the Finance Department and the Administrative Department.
