Rt.No. 111 Date:-31.1.2012 Read:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Lr.No. DCE II/OT1/SO4/ CD / Manneguda/Marriped/Wgl/282/2011, dated 06.05.2011 <<00>> ORDER In the letter read above the CE MI submitted an estimate for Rs. 195.85 lakhs for the work Construction of check dam across Akheru River near Mannegudem Village, Maripeda Mandal, Warangal District” stating that the Govt., have accorded administrative approval for Rs. 102.36 lakhs for the above work vide G.O.Rt.No.298 dated 5.3.2008. The work was technically sanctioned by the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad for Rs. 102.36 lakhs. The work was let out on tender basis to M/s Sai Datta Constructions, Hanamkonda with (+3.15)% excess over sanctioned estimated rates. The estimate was technically sanctioned based on type design and drawing approved by the SE, Special Designs Circle, Hyderabad for the work of check dam across Akheru river near Uggampally (V), Maripeda (M) constructed on upstream side of present check dam. The site survey details were furnished to Superintending Engineer, Special Designs Circle, Hyderabad. The SE/SPL Design Circle, Hyderabad has communicated the approved design and drawings. As per approved drawing, the length of the check dam has increased to 130 mts over the sanctioned length of 71 mts. As per the approved designs and drawings, the higher grade of concrete was proposed for body wall, foundations of check dam and aprons as M15 grade, wearing coat for body wall as M20 grade. The quantities of the sanctioned work items have increased due to increase of length of check dam from 71 mts to 130 mts as well as change in the designs & drawing of check dam. The statutory provisions of labour cess at 1%, difference of VAT at ( 2.80% to 4.00%) are incorporated in the revised estimate. Hence the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has requested to accord Revised Administrative Approval for Rs. 195.85 lakhs for the above work. 2. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord revised administrative approval for Rs. 195.85 lakhs (Rupees. One hundred ninety five lakhs and eighty five thousand only) for the work “Construction of check dam across Akheru River near Mannegudem Village, Maripeda Mandal , Warangal District .”2 3. The expenditure sanctioned at para 2 above shall be debited to the Head of Account “ 4702 on COL on MI – MH 101 – Surface water – GH(11) – Normal state plan – SH(12) – Construction and restoration of M.I sources – 530 Major works – 531 other expenditure”. 4. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW) Deptt. Vide their U.O. No. 32801/1016/A1/Expr.PW/11 dated 21.12.2011.
