Lr.Rc.No.10959/10-E1, dt.27.10.2010. ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, the Director of Handlooms & Textiles and Development Commissioner for Apperal Export Parks, Hyderabad has stated that:- (cid:190) Sri Gulam Ghouse Office Subordinate (Attender), O/o the Assistant Director (H&T) Karimnagar, died on 11-6-2008 due to ill health while in service, by leaving wife and (2) married daughters. (cid:190) All the monetary benefits have been paid to his wife and sanctioned family pension. (cid:190) Smt Haseena Sulthana, 2nd married daughter of the deceased employee has submitted application on 20-11-2008 requesting to appoint her as Class-IV employee. The other legal heirs of the deceased employee have given their declaration for no objection for her appointment. (cid:190) Her application along with all original documents was furnished to Collector, Karimnagar on 3-12-2008 by the Asst Director (H&T) Karimnagar. (cid:190) The District Collector, Karimnagar his Lr No.A1/8394/2008, dt.22-1-2010 has informed that the age of Smt Haseena Sulthana D/o Late Gulam Ghouse, as on date of death of her father is 39 years 4 months and one day. But as per G.O.Ms.No.709, G.A (Ser.A) Dept., Dated 25.11.2008, the maximum age limit shall be (34) years for Open Category and for SC/ST/BC’s (5) years age concession shall be given. Thus the applicant is ineligible for providing employment under Compassionate appointment scheme and instructed to pay ex-gratia accordingly. (cid:190) The individual has requested not to sanction ex-gratia, as she is approaching the Government for providing employment under compassionate appointment scheme. (cid:190) At present one vacancy at Roster Point (6) with OC(Women)(Visually Handicapped) person is available in the Office of the Assistant Director (H&T) Karimnagar. 2. The Director of Handlooms & Textiles and Development Commissioner for Apperal Export Parks, Hyderabad has further informed that the age of Smt.Haseena Sultana, D/o Late Gulam Ghouse, Office Subordinate, Office of the Assistant Director (H&T) Karimnagar is over and above 39 years as on the date of death of her father and to consider the request of the applicant for her appointment as Office Subordinate under compassionate grounds, the Rule 12(1)(b)(i) of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 has to be relaxed by the Government in terms of powers conferred under Rule 31 of the A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules. (P.T.O)-2- 3. Government after careful examination of the matter is here accord permission to the Commissioner of Handlooms & Textiles and Apperal Export Parks, Hyderabad for appointment of Smt.Haseena Sultana 2nd married daughter of Late Gulam Ghouse, Office Subordinate, Office of the Assistant Director (H&T) Karimnagar, on compassionate grounds as Office Subordinate, in relaxation of Rule 12(1)(b)(i) of the A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules relating to the upper age limit of (04) months One day. 4.
