1 GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Minor Irrigation – Mahabubnagar District - Construction of (15) check dams in Jadcherla, Nawabpet and Balangar Mandals of Mahabubnagar Dist - Administrative Approval for Rs.460.29 lakhs - Accorded – Orders – Issued = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = == = == = = = = IRRIGATION & CAD (MI T) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 126 Dated: 4.2.2012 Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Letter No.DCE.Spl/OT(T)/AEE2/TSP/Mbnr/2010-11, Dated 20.12.2010 and even No. Dated 5.12.2011. @@@ ORDER: In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad has submitted (15) estimates for construction of Check dams in Jadcherla, Nawabpet and Balangar Mandals of Mahabububnagar District to accord administrative approval for Rs.460.29 lakhs stating that the villagers of Jadcherla, Nawabpet and Balanagar mandals have no tank irrigation facilities. During rainy season, adjacent vagu flood water is going waste. At present, the main source of irrigation is through open wells and bore wells only. There are small poor and marginal farmers and majority of them belong to ST community. Therefore it is proposed to construct check dams to stabilize the ayacut under the bore wells and open wells. Hence, he has requested to accord administrative approval for construction of (15) check dams in Jadcherla, Nawabpet and Balangar Mandals of Mahabubnagar Dist under TSP funds. 2.
