Read the following:- 1) G.O.Ms.No.153, HE (EC.2) Dept., Dt.22.8.2007. 2) G.O.Ms.No.212, HE (EC.2) Dept., Dt.2.4.2011. 3) From the Secretary, APSCHE Lr.No.APSCHE/PGP/SV College/2011, Dt.23.4.2011. *** O R D E R: In the reference 3rd read above, the Secretary, APSCHE has informed that Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering & Technology, RVS Nagar, Tirupati Road, Chittoor District has admitted five Foreign Nationals in various M.Tech., programmes during the academic year 2010-11 in vacant seats under Category B quota in violation of PGECET Admission rules issued in the reference 1st read above. 2. The Government have observed that said Sri Vekateswara College of Engineering and Technology, RVS Nagar, Tirupathi Road, Chittoor has made (8) admissions in lateral entry in violation of rules, with Foreign Nationals in the academic year 2010-11 also and Government vide reference 2nd read above have imposed penalty of Rs.13,000/- per admission during the same year (i.e., 2010-11) for excess number of admissions made by the College in the interest of students. 3. The Government after careful examination of the entire matter hereby permit the Competent Authority, i.e., Chairman, A.P. State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad to approve the list of excess (5) admissions made in M.Tech., programmes by Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering & Technology, RVS Nagar, Tirupati Road, Chittoor District during the academic year 2010-11, subject to the following conditions:- (i) A penalty at the rate of Rs.26,000/- per irregular admission made in excess of the number of seats approved by the Government be imposed and the amount be paid to the A.P. State Council of Higher Education; (ii) An undertaking to be given by the concerned management for reduction of equal number of seats from ‘B’ category in the subsequent year, which will be filled up through single window counseling;Contd..2. ::2:: (iii) The above permission would be subject to affiliation by concerned University and the individual student satisfying the Academic Regulations of the affiliating University. (iv) The Institution is warned that in future similar mistake may lead to Government addressing the All India Council for Technical Education to cancel the approval given to them. 4. The A.P.
