O R D E R:
Sri A. Raja Gopal, Additional Secretary to Government. (Retd), Labour
Employment Training and Factories Department, in his application 2nd read above
has stated that he has obtained self treatment for “HTN &
Chest Pain” at Aware Global Hospitals, Saroornagar, Hyderabad, from 20.09.2011
to 21.9.2011 and incurred an expenditure of Rs.10,284-50. He has furnished all
relevant papers and requested the Government to reimburse the said amount to
him.
2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Government have sent the medical bills
and relevant papers to the Civil Surgeon Specialist, Govt. Civil Dispensary, A.P.
Secretariat, Hyderabad with a request to scrutinize the medical bills and indicate the
admissible amount for reimbursement to the individual.
3. The Civil Surgeon Specialist, Govt. Civil Dispensary, Secretariat, Hyderabad,
in his letter 4th read above, has stated that the medical bills of Sri A. Raja Gopal,
Additional Secretary to Government (Retd), Labour Employment Training and
Factories Department, towards obtained treatment for self from 20.9.2011 to
21.9.2011, at Aware Global Hospitals, Saroornagar, Hyderabad, has been
scrutinized in terms of APIMS Rules, 1972 read with the G.O.Ms.No.74, HM&FW
(K1) Department, Dt.15.3.2005 and allowed the following admissible amount:-
Total Amount Claimed Rs.10,284-.50
Inadmissible Amount Rs. 450-00

Gross admissible Amount Rs.9,834-50
LESS: 10% cut on Rs. - Nil -
admissible amount for non-
submission of Referral
letter.
Net admissible amount Rs.9,834-00
4. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby accord sanction
for payment an amount of Rs.9,834/- (Rupees Nine thousand Eight hundred and
Thirty Four only) to Sri A. Raja Gopal, Additional Secretary to Government (Retd),
towards the self treatment from 20.9.2011 to 21.9.2011 at Aware Global Hospitals,
Saroornagar, Hyderabad, as recommended by the Civil Surgeon Specialist,
Government Civil Dispensary, A.P. Secretariat, Hyderabad.
5. The expenditure sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to Head of
Account 2251- Secretariat Economic Services – 090-Secretariat – 16-Labour
Employment Training & Factories Department-017-Medical Reimbursement.

6. The Labour Employment Training & Factories OP (Claims) Department shall
draw the sanctioned amount in para 4 above and disburse the same to the Retired
Officer.
7. This order does not require the concurrence of Finance Department.
