From the Director, Archaeology & Museums, Lr.Rc.No. H3/2552/2011, Dated: 02-11-2011. 2. G.O.Rt.No. 37, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated: 18-01-2012. 3. From the Director, Archaeology & Museums, Lr.Rc.No. H3/2552/2011, Dated: 14-02-2012. ***** O R D E R: In the G.O. 2nd read above, the Government have issued orders according permission to the Director, Archaeology & Museums to transfer the requested land (03 acres) to Indian Navy Force to construct and maintain 60’ wide Road through the Thotlakonda, Buddhist Site, Protected Monument of the Department of Archaeology & Museums, A.P. to be used commonly by both the parties i.e. Indian Navy and the Department of Archaeology & Museums. 2. In the letter 3rd read above, the Director, Archaeology & Museums has informed that transfer of protected land is in violation of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act (Act VII of 1960) Act provision and requested the Government to delete the word “transfer” from the G.O. 2nd read above and issue orders permitting the Department to accord permission to Indian Navy Force for constructing the proposed 60’ wide road which shall be used by both the parties i.e., Department of Archaeology & Museums and Indian Navy Force. 3. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby issue the following errata to 2nd para of G.O. 2nd read above.
