(COI.R) Department, U.O.Note No.23/COI- R/2012, Dt.04.02.2012. *** ORDER: Whereas, under Rule 20 of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (C.C.&A) Rules, 1991, is ordered to be held against Sri B. Manikyam, the then Executive Engineer (R&B) N.H Division, Nellore (now retired), for the irregularities for having not remitted / belatedly remitted DDs into Government Account relating to sale proceeds of tender schedules, Earnest Money Deposits (EMD) and Security Deposits (SD); vide reference first read above. 2. And whereas, consequent on retirement of Dr.Subhrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, Commissioner of Inquiries, it was decided to reassign the case of Sri B. Manikyam, the then Executive Engineer (R&B) N.H Division, Nellore (now retired) to Sri Jitender, IPS, Commissioner of Inquiries, vide reference second read above. 3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-rule (2) of rule 20 of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CC&A) Rules, 1991 the disciplinary authority hereby entrust the Departmental enquiry to Sri Jitender, IPS, Commissioner of Inquiries as the Inquiring Authority to conduct further enquiry. 4. The General Administration (COI.R) Department shall furnish the relevant records/documents connected with the inquiry to the Inquiring Authority. The Inquiring Authority is requested to continue the enquiry from where it was stopped by the former Inquiring authority and furnish his enquiry report with in (2) months.
