Department, dated.16.08.1993 4.G.O.Rt.No.2565, Finance (Admn.I.Vig.) Department, dated.05.07.2011. 5.Lr.No.K(II)8/1697/2004, dated.22.11.2011 of Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P. Hyderabad. 6.Finance (FR.II) Department U.O.No.31832/181/FR.II/12, dt.24.03.2012 *** ORDER: A departmental enquiry was conducted in a case of misappropriation of Govt. money of Rs.70,000/- in the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare. Sri D.Hanumantha Reddy, Accounts Officer (Rtd) while working as Accounts Officer, IPP in the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare was charge sheeted for being involved in the said misappropriation of Govt. money of Rs.70,000/- in collusion with Sri S.Absar Ahmed, Superintendent of Medical and Health by altering the Bank cheques of Rs.23,000/- to that of Rs.93,000/-and recording in the cash register accordingly. Departmental action and criminal action was initiated against both the delinquents. In the criminal case Sri D.Hanumantha Reddy, was acquitted of the charges on the ground that Govt. permission was not taken for prosecution. The individual was suspended from service vide reference 1st read above, and was reinstated into service vide reference 2nd read above. In the Departmental Proceedings, the charges framed against Sri D.Hanumantha Reddy were proved and was imposed a punishment of 10% cut in pension permanently vide G.O.3rd read above. 2. In the reference 4th read above, Government after careful examination of the matter, ordered to exonerate Sri D.Hanumantha Reddy, A.O. from the Charges and drop further action against him, after following the due procedure, as per Section 8 of the A.P.C.S. (Disciplinary Proceedings Tribunal) Act, 1960, 3. In the reference 5th read above, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P. Hyderabad has sent the proposal for regularization of the suspension period with effect from 01.05.1988 to 29.09.1989 as duty. 4. Government, after careful examination of the proposal hereby order to regularize the suspension period w.e..f. 01.05.1988 to 29.09.1989 as duty in respect of Sri D.Hanumantha Reddy, Accounts Officer (Rtd) O/o IPP, in the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Hyderabad, as “on duty” in terms of FR.54 B(3). 5. This order is issued with the concurrence of Finance (FR.II) Department vide reference 6th read above. 6. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P. Hyderabad shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
