Gupta, Assistant Section Officer and others of Finance Department. *** O R D E R: Under Article 230 of A.P.F.C – Volume.I, Government hereby accord sanction for an advance of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees one lakh fifty thousand only) (Rs.50,000/- each) to Sri K.U.M. Gupta, Assistant Section Officer, Smt. B. Savithri, Accounts Officer, Sri V. Sri Hari, P.S. to Secretary to Government, Finance Department for purchase of Personal Computer as shown in the annexure to this order subject to the following conditions:- (a) That they should purchase the Personal Computer and pay for it within one month form the date on which the advance is drawn, failing which the full amount of the advance drawn together with interest should be refunded to the Government. No extension of time for completion of the transaction will ordinarily be allowed. They should make himself sure about the availability of the Computer in the market before he draw the Advance: (b) That if the actual price paid for the Personal Computer is less than the advance drawn, the balance should be refunded to the Government forthwith. They should also produce the stamped receipt in token of having purchased the Computer. 2. The advance shall be recovered as shown in the Annexure to this Order. The first installment of recovery will commence from the salary of April, 2012 payable on or after 01.05.2012. After the principal amount is completely recovered, the interest at the rate of 5½ % per annum (simple interest) will be charged and should be recovered as per the procedure laid down in Article.227 and 230 of A.P.F.C. Vol-I. P.T.O.-2- 3. If any advance together with interest is outstanding on the date of retirement, the entire amount should be recovered in one lumpsum from the D.C.R.G. 4. It is certified that the advance for the purchase of Personal Computer sanctioned is for the first time and that the individuals have not drawn any such advance previously. 5. The expenditure shall be met from out of the funds allotted to the Finance Department in the reference 2nd read above, and be debited to the Head – “7610 LOANS TO GOVERNMENT SERVANTS ETC.,– M.H.204 ADVANCES FOR PURCHASE OF PERSONAL COMPUTERS – S.H.(12) Advances for purchase of Personal Computers – 001 Advances for purchase of Personal Computers”. 6. Surety Bond need not to be obtained since the individuals are an approved probationer. 7. The Finance (Claims) Department are requested to draw and credit the amount to the individuals bank account through ECS Dr.P.V.
