ORDER:
In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad
has submitted an estimate for the work “Construction of Check dam No.2
across Polepally Vagu near Polepally Village, Jadcherla Mandal,
Mahabubnagar District” to accord administrative approval for Rs.35.45 lakhs
stating that the villagers have no tank irrigation facilities. During rainy season,
adjacent vagu flood water is going waste. At present, the main source of
irrigation is through open wells and bore wells only. There are small poor and
marginal farmers and majority of them belong to ST community. Therefore it is
proposed to construct Check dam to stabilize the indirect ayacut of 122 Acres
under the bore wells and open wells. The Deputy Director, Ground Water Dept
has recommended the site for construction of check dam. Further he has
stated that no component can be tagged with MGNRGES. Hence he has
requested to accord administrative approval for Rs.35.45 lakhs for the above
work under TSP.
2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord
administrative approval for Rs.35.45 lakhs (Rupees thirty five lakhs and forty
five thousands only) for the work “Construction of Check dam No.2 across
Polepally Vagu near Polepally(V), Jadcherla(M) Mahabubnagar District”.
3. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debitable to the
Head of Account “4702 COL on MI Sources – MH 796 – TSP – GH (11) – NSP
– SH (12) – Construction & Restoration of MI Works – 530 Major Works / 531
Other Expenditure”
(PTO)4. This order issues with concurrence of the Finance (Expr.PW)
Department vide their U.O.No.1689/57/A1/Expr.PW/12, dated 27.1.2012
