Read the following:- 1) From the Chief General Manager, Coal India Limited, Kolkata, Lr.No.CIL /CMO/ SO/47252/126, dt:14.2.2011. 2) From the Commissioner of Industries, Hyderabad, Lr.No.11-1-2005-2006, dt:25.3.2011. <<>> O R D E R: In the reference 1st read above, the Chief General Manager, Coal India Limited, Kolkata has informed that they have allocated 1.01 lakh tons of coal from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited to the State of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2011-12 and requested to nominate an agency to lift the coal from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited to MSME units in Andhra Pradesh. 2) In the reference 2nd read above, the Commissioner of Industries, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has informed that the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited has expressed their interest to work as Nodal agency by taking coal from Mahanadi Coal field for supply to the MSMEs in Andhra Pradesh. The Commissioner of Industries, Hyderabad has reported that the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited has expressed their interest to work as Nodal agency by taking coal from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited for supply to the MSME in the State and also informed that they have the necessary expertise and infrastructure to act as Nodal Agency for supply of coal by procuring from Coal India Limited. The Commissioner of Industries, Hyderabad has therefore requested to appoint Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited as Nodal Agency for supply of coal to MSME sector for the quantity allocated by Coal India Limited for Andhra Pradesh State, which can be utilized for the coastal Districts of Andhra Pradesh as they are located nearer to the Mahanadi Coal fields. 3) Government, after careful examination, hereby appoint Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited, as Nodal agency for supply and distribution of coal to the consumers of MSME sector from the quantity allocated by Coal India Limited for Andhra Pradesh State for the year 2011-12. 4) The Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited, Hyderabad and Commissioner of Industries, Andhra Pradesh Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter.
