From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Letter No.DCE-
II/OT1/SO1/IC, Hyd/2010, Dated 22.8.2011 and even letter dated
30.11.2011

ORDER:
In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad
has submitted an estimate for Rs.40.80 lakhs for the work “Earth Work
Excavation and Formation of Banks for Feeder Channel from Pedda Cheruvu,
Yennaram Village to Cheema Kunta and Madyboina Kunta of Yennaram
Village, Ramannapet Mandal, Nalgonda District” stating that the Cheema Kunta
and other three kuntas are having an ayacut of 100 Acres. These kuntas are
not receiving water due to drought. The ryots have represented to excavate a
feeder channel from Pedda Cheruvu and improvements to Cheemakunta for
direct irrigation along with the channel. The excavation of feeder channel will
create an additional I.P of 100 Acres. The weir is damaged for a length of
10.00 m. Therefore it is proposed to raise the bund with original standards,
excavation of channel and construct the weir. Further the CE/MI has stated
that an amount of Rs.8.32 lakhs for the component of Earth Work Excavation
and Formation of Banks for Feeder Channel from Pedda Cheru to feed
Cheema Kunta, Yennaram Village will be taken up under MGNREGP. Hence
he has requested to accord administrative sanction in the matter.
2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord
administrative approval for Rs.40.80 lakhs (Rupees forty lakhs and eighty
thousands only) for the work “Earth Work Excavation and Formation of Banks
for Feeder Channel from Pedda Cheruvu, Yennaram Village to Cheema Kunta
and Madyboina Kunta of Yennaram Village, Ramannapet Mandal, Nalgonda
District”.
3. Out of the amount sanctioned in para 2 above, an amount of Rs.32.48
lakhs shall be debitable to the Head of Account "4702 COL on MI – MH (101) –
Surface Water GH – (11) Normal State Plan SH – (12) Construction &
Restoration of MI Sources 530 Major Works – 531 Other Expenditure”
(PTO)4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the Earth
Work Excavation and Formation of Banks for Feeder Channel from Pedda
Cheru to feed Cheema Kunta, Yennaram Village under shelf of project for
taking up it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs.8.32 lakhs
for the component of Earth Work Excavation and Formation of Banks for
Feeder Channel from Pedda Cheru to feed Cheema Kunta, Yennaram Village
shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly including it in shelf of project in
consultation with Rural Development Department
5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action
accordingly.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW)
Department vide their U.O.No.102/4/A1/Expr.PW/12, dated 19.1.2012 and PR
& RD (RD) Department vide their U.O.No.3514/RD.II/A1/2012,
dated 14.2.2012.
