1 GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT LIS - Warangal District –“C & C of Venkatraopally LI Scheme on R/S Maneru River, Chityal Mandal, Warangal District”- Administrative Approval for Rs.671.31 lakhs – Accorded – orders – issued. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = IRRIGATION & CAD (MI T) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 197 Dated 18.2.2012. Read the following:- 1. From the Vice Chairman & Managing APSIDC Ltd., letter No.IDC/MD/Tech/WGL/Venkatraopally LIS/2011-12/664, dated 23.05.2011. 2. From the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APSIDC Letter No. IDC/MD/Tech/WGL/Venkatraopally LIS/2011-12/3491, dated 28.11.2011 <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter 1st read above, the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APSIDC Ltd., Hyderabad submitted an estimate for Rs. 701.10 lakhs for the work “C & C of Venkatraopally LI Scheme on R/S Maneru River in Chityal Mandal of Warangal District” stating that the Venkatraopally L.I. Scheme is intended to irrigate an ayacut of 696 acres. The Engineer-in-Chief (A.W) has accorded Hydrological Clearance for utilization of 26.25 Mcft of water to irrigate an ayacut of 696 acres of khariff Id. Hence the VC & MD, APSIDC Ltd., has requested to accord administrative approval for Rs. 701.10 lakhs Under Normal State Plan. 2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APSIDC Ltd., has stated that the work of approach road, minor field channels and jungle clearance for a value of Rs. 6.29 lakhs could be taken up under MGNREGP duly following the procedure. The quantities for formation of intake leading channels/pipelines, Head works, Pressure Mains are usually more than 1000 cum having depth of excavation ranging from 2m to 10m with different formations of soils like hard rock requiring blasting etc. Hence, such works can not be taken up manually. Therefore he has requested to accord administrative approval for Rs. 701.10 lakhs for the work for the above under State Plan funds duly proposing an amount of Rs. 6.29 lakhs to take up the work of approach road, minor field channels and jungle clearance under MGNREGP. 3. Government after careful examination of the mater, revise estimate of the following:- a) The Financial provision for the following components has been restricted for the above L.I. Scheme as per G.O.Nos. 205 I & CAD (MI IV) Department dated 3.12.2008 as per details shown below: Scheme Component Provision in Sanctioned Estimate amount Venkatraopally Survey & 16.382 lakhs 2.436 lakhs LIS Investigation2 b) The following provisions in the estimate have been deleted: Scheme Component Provision in Sanctioned Estimate amount Venkatraopally Audit Charges 5.36 lakhs - LIS Operation & 42,000 - Maintenance Charges Evaluation & 6.82 lakhs - Monitoring Charges 4. Accordingly, Government hereby accord administrative approval for Rs.671.31 (Rupees six hundred seventy one lakhs and thirty one thousand only), out of which an amount of Rs. 665.02 lakhs shall be debitable to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I. – MH 101 - GH 11 Normal State Plan – SH (15) – L.I. works – 530 / 531 Other Expenditure for “C & C of Venkatraopally LI Scheme on R/S Maneru River, Chityal Mandal, Warangal District”. 5. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the approach road, minor field channels and jungle clearance under shelf of project for taking up under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs. 6.29 lakhs for the component of approach road, minor field channels and jungle clearance shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds in consultation with Rural Development Department. 6. The Vice chairman & Managing Director, APSIDC Ltd., Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. 7. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW) Dept vide U.O. No. 34603/1059/Expr.PW/A1/11 dated 9.1.2012 and PR & RD (RD) Deptt., vide their U.O.No.3515/RD II/A1/12. dated 14.2.2012.
