From the Dir, IMS, Hyd., Lr.Rc.No.16435/E2C/2011, dated.24-01-2012 x-x-x ORDER: In the reference read above, the Director of Insurance Medical Services, A.P., Hyderabad has stated that there are certain vacancies to be filled in the category of Pharmacists Grade-II and Lab-technicians Grade-II in the A.P. Insurance Medical Services Department in different E.S.I. Institutions. The vacancies aroused due to retirement of the staff in the above said categories. Due to above vacancies it is becoming difficult to run the E.S.I. institutions with meager staff due to non availability of the services of the above categories. The strength of I.Ps is increasing day by day and it is getting extremity difficult to run the dispensaries and hospitals successfully without sufficient Pharmacists and Lab-technicians. The Director of Insurance Medical Services, A.P., Hyderabad has requested the Government to accord permission to Director of Insurance Medical Services, Hyderabad to fill the vacancies on regular basis for the following vacant posts. After careful examination, Government hereby accord permission to Director, Insurance Medical Services, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad to issue notification and also seek the eligible candidates who were registered their names in respective District Employment Exchanges simultaneously for recruitment of (51) vacant Pharmacists Grade-II and (23) Lab-Technicians on regular basis duly following the recruitment Procedure as mentioned at Annexure to the G.O. 3. The Director of Insurance Medical Services, A.P., Hyderabad is also permitted to constitute the following the selection committees with the following members for recruitment of above vacant posts on regular basis in Insurance Medical Services Department duly following guidelines in force:- P.T.O.,:: 2 :: SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR RECRUITMENT OF PHARMACISTS & LAB TECHNICIANS: 1. Deputy Secretary/JointSecretary/Addl. -- Member Secretary, LET&F Department, AP, HYd. 3.Medical Superintendent/Joint Director-IMS -- Member-Convener of the concerned Zone/Institution. 4. The Director, Insurance Medical Services, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is requested to issue direct recruitment notification along with applications called for District Employment Exchanges concerned for appointment of (51) Pharmacist Grade-II and (23) Lab-Technicians in Insurance Medical Services Department duly following the guidelines as per rules in force. 5. The Selection Committee for recruitment of (51) Pharmacist Grade-II and (23) Lab-Technicians in Insurance Medical Services Department shall process the recruitment process by following the recruitment procedure along with weigatage marks given to the contract medical staff mentioned in the annexure to the G.O., and send the merit list of selected candidates to the next higher authority i.e , Government, Secretary, Labour Employment Training & Factories Department for scrutiny 6. The Director of Insurance Medical Services, A.P., Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly and ensure proper and fair selection.
