Minor Irrigation – Administrative approval for Rs.303.50 lakhs for completion of
balance left over works in order to commission Gollapalem Lift Irrigation Scheme on
Aleru Drain in Inkollu Mandal , Prakasam District – Accorded – Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
In the reference read above, the Vice Chairman and Managing Director,
APSIDC has stated that the proposal for according revised administrative approval
for Gollapalem Lift Irrigation Scheme on Aleru Drain in Inkollu Mandal, Prakasam
District was submitted with the following funding pattern.
NABARD Share Rs.256.79 lakhs
Govt.Share Rs. 75.10 lakhs
State Plan funds Rs. 219.67 lakhs
Total Rs. 551.56 lakhs
The actual expenditure incurred is Rs.114.21 lakhs at the time of determination of the
contract and hence , the estimate for balance works of Rs.437.35 lakhs(551.56-
114.21) was submitted for according revised administrative sanction for Rs.551.56
lakhs. Subsequently, as the tranche was going to be closed by 31-3-2011, the
Proposal for completion of entire balance works costing Rs.450-00 lakhs was
submitted under State Plan. Then, the tranche RIDF-XI was extended up to 31-12-
2011 and hence it was proposed to utilize the sanction available under RIDF XI. The
works costing Rs.200-00 lakhs are entrusted by calling tenders on e-procurement
platform and the works are nearing completion. Therefore the cost of left over
balance works is arrived is Rs.250.00 lakhs (450.00-200.00). Hence it was proposed
to accord revised administrative sanction for Rs.564.21 lakhs duly proposing
Rs.250-00 lakhs under State Plan. Now the cost of left over balance work is
prepared with SSR 2011-12 and worked out to Rs.303.50 lakhs. In order to complete
the scheme works and to put the scheme in operation, the Vice Chairman
&Managing Director has proposed to accord administrative approval for Rs.303.50
lakhs under Normal State Plan for completion of balance left over works, as the RIDF
XI is closed by 31-12-2011 instead of seeking revised administrative sanction under
RIDF-XI.2. The Vice Chairman &Managing Director ,APSIDC has therefore, requested
the Government to accord administrative sanction for Rs.303.50 lakhs for completion
of balance left over woks in order to commission Gollapalem L.I.Scheme on Aleru
Drain in Inkollu (M) of Prakasam District under Normal State Plan funds allotted to
APSIDC for the year 2011-12 under the Head of Account 4702 -101-GH(11)-SH(15)-
530,531.
3. Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Vice Chairman &
Managing Director, APSIDC Ltd hereby accord administrative sanction for Rs.303.50
lakhs(Rupees three hundred three lakhs and Fifty thousand only) for completion of
balance left over works in order to Commission the Gollapalem Lift Irrigation
Scheme on Aleru Drain in Inkollu Mandal Prakasam District.
4. The expenditure shall be debited to the Head of Account 4702-101-GH(11)-
SH(15)-530,531.
5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW)Department vide
their U.O.No.1953/71/A1/Expr.PW/12,dt.1-2-2012.
