No. 284/VC(6)/2010, dt. 24.08.2011. *** ORDER: Article of charge was issued in the reference 2nd read above, to Sri A.Venugoapal, the then Assistant Executive Engineer (R&B), Markapur (now working as Assistant Executive Engineer (R&B), Section, Kakumanu, Tenali Division), as he failed to monitor/supervise properly the work of Construction of ROB at Rayavaram Village, in lieu of L.C.No.236 at Railway Km.143/10-12 of Guntur-Nandyal Section and R&B Road at K.M.37.2 of Podili- Markapur Road in Prakasam District, due to which 13 slabs of ROB are executed with deficit reinforcement. 2. Sri A.Venugoapal, the then Assistant Executive Engineer (R&B), in the reference 3rd read above has submitted his representation denying the charge; and, requested that he may kindly be exonerated from the charge, and to drop further action against him; and, the explanation is not convincing. 3. Government, after careful examination of the matter, observe that there was confusion/lack of understanding regarding the drawing, by Sri A. Venugoapal, Assistant Executive Engineer (R&B), and that is clear professional failure; and, hence decide and hereby impose the penalty of stoppage of 2 (two) increments without cumulative effect against him, in respect of work of failure to monitor/supervise properly the work of construction of ROB at Rayavaram Village, in lieu of L.C.No.236 at Railway Km. 143/10-12 of Guntur-Nandyal Section and R&B Road at K.M.37.2 of Podili- Markapur Road in Prakasam District. 4. The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), Administration shall take further necessary action accordingly.
