ORDER:
In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad has
submitted an estimate for the work “Excavation of Feeder Channel from F.C.Akkene
Pally Cheru to Pedda Cheru, Akaram Village to Feed Nalla Kunta, Naragudem
Village, Kattangur Mandal, Nalgonda District” to accord administrative approval for
Rs.45.25 lakhs stating that the existing feeder channel is feeding 235.00 acres of
ayacut. It is feasible for excavation of feeder channel @ Ch 289.00 of existing
feeder channel to feed Nalla kunta, Naragudem. It is also feasible to feed another 5
Nos. Kuntas i.e i) Turkabai Kunta ii) Penagala Kunta iii) Kotha kunta iv)
Nadimbai Kunta and v) Nalla Kunta, which are in dire need of water to feed them.
Hence, it is proposed to take up the work to supply water to the ayacut. The land
owners a long the alignment of feeder channel have given consent to give land with
out any land compensation. Further, he has stated that an amount of Rs.6.123 lakhs
for the component of earth work excavation in ordinary soils can be taken up under
MGNREGP. Hence, he has requested to accord administrative approval in the
matter.
2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord
administrative approval for Rs.45.25 lakhs (Rupees forty five lakhs and twenty five
thousand only) for the work “Excavation of Feeder Channel from F.C.Akkene Pally
Cheru to Pedda Cheru, Akaram Village to Feed Nalla Kunta, Naragudem Village,
Kattangur Mandal, Nalgonda District”.
3. Out of the amount sanctioned in para 2 above, an amount of Rs.39.127 lakhs
shall be debitable to the Head of Account “4702 COL on MI - MH (101) – Surface
Water GH – (11) Normal State Plan SH – (12) Construction & Restoration of MI
sources – 530 Major Works / 531 Other Expenditure”.
4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of
earth work excavation in ordinary soils under shelf of project for taking it under
MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs.6.123 lakhs for the component of
earth work excavation in ordinary soils shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds
duly including under shelf of project in consultation with Rural Development
Department.2
5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action
accordingly.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW) Department vide
their U.O.No.2581/99/A1/Expr.PW/12, Dated 8.2.2012 and PR & RD (RD)
Department vide their U.O.No.4787/RD.II/A1/2012, Dated 29.2.2012.
