1 GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Minor Irrigation – Nalgonda Disgtrict - Improvements to Kalvapally Bandham, Kalvapally Village, Garidepally Mandal, Nalgonda District – Administrative Approval for Rs.84.15 lakhs – Accorded – Orders – Issued. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = IRRIGATION & CAD (MI T) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 241 Dated: 1.3.2012 Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Letter No. DCE-II / OT1 / SO1 / K.Bandham / Kalwapally / Nlg Dist / 2011, Dated 28.12.2011 @@@ ORDER: In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad has submitted an estimate for the work “Improvements to Kalvapally Bandham, Kalvapally Village in Garidepally Mandal of Nalgonda District” to accord administrative approval for Rs.84.15 lakhs stating that the anicut is situated across Vemuloor Vagu. The anicut is constructed long back at the time of Nizam Government. The ayacut under this anicut is 350.63 Acres. The left and right side of the earthen bund are eroded and slipped on either side and became very weak. The bund is fully covered with thick jungle. The body wall of anicut is badly damaged horizontally and vertically, cracks were developed, top layer washed out and possibility of collapse of body wall in rainy season. The apron wings are also to be repaired. The canals carrying capacity also reduced due to slipped earth. The farmers under this tank have requested to take up repairs to bring system functioning. Therefore it is proposed the said work to stabilize the ayacut under the Kalvapally Bandham. Further, he has stated that an amount of Rs.88461/- will be taken up under MGNREGP. Hence, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad has requested to accord administrative approval in the matter. 2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs.84.15 lakhs (Rupees eighty four lakhs and fifteen thousand only) for the work “Improvements to Kalvapally Bandham, Kalvapally Village in Garidepally Mandal of Nalgonda District” 3. Out of the amount sanctioned in para 2 above, an amount of Rs.83,26,539/- shall be debitable to the Head of Account “4702 COL on MI - MH (101) – Surface Water GH – (11) Normal State Plan SH – (12) Construction & Restoration of MI sources – 530 Major Works / 531 Other Expenditure”. (PTO)2 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of LIS & RIS Bandham dismantling works & jungle clearance under shelf of project for taking it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs.88,461/- for the component of LIS & RIS Bandham dismantling works & jungle clearance shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds in consultation with Rural Development Department. 5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW) Department vide their U.O.No.2243 / 83 / A1 / Expr. PW / 2012, Dated 30.1.2012 and PR & RD (RD) Department vide their U.O.No.4786/RD.II/A1/2012, Dated 29.2.2012.
