1 GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Minor Irrigation – Nalgonda District - Improvements to Oora Cheruvu, Narayanapuram Village, Chilkur Mandal, Nalgonda District – Administrative Approval for Rs.83.60 lakhs – Accorded – Orders – Issued. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = IRRIGATION & CAD (MI T) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 254 Date: 6.3.2012 Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad letter No.DCE-II / OT1 / SO1 / Oora Cheruvu / Narayanapuram(V) / Nlg Dist / 2011, Dated 28.12.2011. @@@ ORDER: In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad has submitted an estimate for the work “Improvements to Oora Cheruvu, Narayanapuram Village, Chilkur Mandal, Nalgonda District” to accord administrative approval for Rs.83.60 lakhs stating that the ayacut under this tank is 128.15 acres. The bund having length of 1094.40 mts was covered with thick jungle and bushes. The bund is scoured and top levels of the bund are below standards and profile. The sluice No.II at Ch 43.70 is completely damaged. The existing weir of length 90.52 mts is heavily leaking through foundations and also through masonry joints. There is no solid apron and due to loose strata, the surplus course scoured nearer to apron side. The farmers under this tank have requested to take up repairs to bring system functioning. Hence, the estimate is prepared for improvements to the tank to supply water to contemplated ayacut. Further, he has stated that an amount of Rs.14,582/- for the component of jungle clearance can be taken up under MGNREGP. Hence, he has requested to accord administrative approval in the matter. 2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs.83.60 lakhs (Rupees eighty three lakhs and sixty thousands only) for the work “Improvements to Oora Cheruvu, Narayanapuram Village, Chilkur Mandal, Nalgonda District”. 3. Out of the amount sanctioned in para 2 above, an amount of Rs.83,45,418/- shall be debitable to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I. – MH 101 – Surface Water GH - 11 Normal State Plan – SH (12) – Construction & Restoration of MI Sources – 530 Major Works / 531 Other Expenditure”. (PTO)2 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of jungle clearance under shelf of project for taking up it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs.14,582/- for the component of jungle clearance shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly including it under Shelf of Project in consultation with Rural Development Department. 5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW) Department vide their U.O.No.2602/108/A1/Expr.PW/12, dated 8.2.2012 and PR & RD (RD) Department vide their U.O.No.5019 / RD.II / A1 / 2012, Dated 3.3.2012.
