Irrigation & CAD Dept – “India Water Week 2012” Celebrations by the Ministry of
Water Resources, Govt of India on the theme “Water, Energy and Food Security –
Call for solutions” during 10-14th April, 2012 at New Delhi – Sanction of an amount
of Rs. 9.00 lakhs towards extending the “Platinum Sponsorship” & Preparation of
Advertisement Materials etc. and Nomination of Officers – Permission – Accorded
- Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
The Ministry of Water Resources, Govt. of India is celebrating “India Water
Week” on the theme “Water, Energy and Food Security – Call for Solutions” during
10-14th April, 2012 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi and for the purpose the State
Government was invited to participate in the event as the Platinum Sponsor by
making a financial contribution of Rs.5.00 lakhs on behalf of Irrigation & CAD,
GoAP, Hyderabad; and also to participate in the exhibition & display the activities
and achievements of this Department, as a commendable work has been achieved
by the State in the development of water resources, power and agriculture Sector,
in the reference 1st read above.
2. Accordingly, the Engineer-in-Chief (AW) has submitted proposals in the
reference 2nd read above seeking permission of the Government for sanction of a
total amount of Rs.9.00 lakhs (Rupees Nine lakhs only) ie., Rs.5.00 lakhs for
Platinum Sponsorship on behalf of Irrigation & CAD Dept., GOAP + Rs. 4.00 lakhs
for Preparation of Advertisement materials such as photos, flexi, booklet,
pamphlets & video films etc. and to depute a 10 member-delegation to participate in
the event.
3. The Government, after careful consideration of the proposal, is hereby
accord sanction for a total amount of Rs.9.00 lakhs (Rupees Nine lakhs only) ie.,
Rs.5.00 lakhs for the Platinum Sponsorship on behalf of Irrigation & CAD Dept.,
GoAP + Rs. 4.00 lakhs for Preparation of Advertisement materials such as photos,
flexi, booklet, pamphlets & video films etc., and also, accord permission to depute
the following 10 member delegation to participate in the event during 10-14th April,
2012:-
i) Sri L Narayan Reddy, Engineer-in-Chief (AW), Hyderabad.
ii) Sri C. Muralidhar, Engineer-in-Chief (Irr), Hyderabad.
iii) Sri D. Hariram, Chief Engineer, RSIS LIS, Bhadrachalam
iv) Sri B. Laxman Rao, Chief Engineer, CDO, Hyderabad
v) Sri K. Jalandhar, Chief Engineer (P), Kurnool
vi) Sri G. Anil Kumar, Supdt. Engineer, ISRMC, Eluru
vii) Sri K. Sri Ram Reddy, Supdt. Engineer, AMRP Circle No.1,
GVGudem, Nalgonda
viii) Sri J. Vijay Prakash, Supdt. Engineer, JCRDLIS Project Circle,
Warangal
ix) Sri M. Krishna Rao, Supdt. Engineer, Pulichintala Project Circle,
Jaggaiahpet
x) Sri A. Rama Mohana Chary, Supdt. Engineer, PMU, Hyd.::2::
4. The expenditure sanctioned in para (3) above, shall be met from the funds
already made available in the BE 2011-12, under the Hd. of Account: “MH 2700 M
& MI – 80 Genl. MH.001 D&A GH.11 NSP SH 01 260 – Advertisement Sales &
Publicity Expenses for Outdoor Media, Electronic Media and Print Media”.
5. The ENC (AW) shall take necessary action accordingly, keeping in view the
importance attached to the “India Water Week Conference”.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance (Exp:PW) Dept.,vide
U.O.No.6133-A/234/A1/Expr.PW/12, dt. 3.3.2012.
