Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE.Spl/OT (D)/AEE5/SCP/ Ramunipatla/11 Dt. 5.12.2011 <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the CE., MI has submitted an estimate for for Rs. 48.50 lakhs for the work “Construction of check dam across Siddipet Vagu near Gonepally road, Ramunipatla Village, Chinnakodur Mandal, Medak District” stating that the Siddipet vagu is intended to stabilize an ayacut of 50 acres and is passing adjacent to the Ramunipatla village. The ryots and villagers have represented to construct a Check Dam across the river to recharge ground water level in bore wells all along the river to stabilize the ayacut. Hydrological clearance was accorded for 2.25 Mcft and Groundwater Department has also given clearance for construction of check dam at the proposed site. The scheme is proposed under Special Component Plan, as the Scheduled Caste ayacutdars are more than 50% of the total ayacut under the scheme. Further he has stated that the work components cannot be dovetailed with NREGS funds. Hence, he has requested to accord administrative approval under SCP for the above work. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs. 48.50 lakhs (Rupees forty eight lakhs and fifty thousands only) for the work “Construction of Check Dam across Siddipet Vagu near Gonepally Road, Ramunipatla Village, Chinnakodur Mandal Medak District”. 3. The expenditure sanctioned at para 2 above, shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on MI Sources – SH (789) SCP - GH (11) NSP – SH 12 Construction & Restoration of MI Sources – 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure” P.T.O. -2- 4.
