ORDER:
1. In the reference 1st read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has
submitted the revised estimate for the work Formation of new tank across
Doripulavagu near Korlanka (V) , Tiryani (M), Adilabad District for Rs.2391.85 Lakhs
to the Engineer-in-Chief (Irrigation Wing) for onward submission to the Government
for according administrative approval stating that during the course of execution, due
to issuance of working drawings in respect of surplus weir and sluices by the office of
Special Designs Circle, Hyderabad and as per the site conditions, certain deviations
were occurred and the Revised Estimate was prepared and submitted to the
Committee of Chief Engineers for approval. The revised Estimate proposal was
examined and the same was recommended to the Government by the Engineer-in-
Chief (Irrigation Wing) and the Chairman, Committee of Chief Engineers for
Rs.2391.85 Lakhs, as against the original sanctioned provision of Rs.1236.00 Lakhs,
with an excess involvement of Rs.1155.85 Lakhs.
2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Commissioner, CAD has also requested
the Government to accord revised administrative sanction for Rs.2391.85lakhs for
the above work as recommended by the Committee of Chief Engineers.
3. Government after careful consideration of the matter, hereby accord revised
administrative approval for Rs.23,91,85,000/- (Rupees Twenty three crores ninety
one lakhs and eighty five thousands only) for the work of “Formation of new tank
across Doripulavagu near Korlanka (V) , Tiryani (M), Adilabad District” subject to
obtaining the prior concurrence of JBIC by following the project guidelines.
4. The Expenditure for the said work may be chargeable to the Head of account
“2702 – Minor irrigation, 01 surface water, M.H. 101, Water Tanks, G.H.03 External
Aided projects, S.H. (10), Construction of new minor irrigation tanks under APILIP,
530 Major works, 531 other expenditure,532 lands.

5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation/ Commissioner, CAD is requested to take
further necessary action accordingly.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. P.W) Department
vide their U.O. No. 4380/184/ A1/ Expr. PW/12, dated: 22.02.2012.
