Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE-II / OT4 / SO1 / KNR / FDR / Dapati Cheruvu / Begumpet (V) / 2011, dated 04.07.2011 and even No. dated 17.1.2012. <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted a an estimate for Rs. 18.35 lakhs for the work Flood Damage Repairs to Dapati Cheruvu, Begumpet (V), Kamanpur (M), Adilabad District stating that the above Cheruvu is having an ayacut of 55 acres. Due to heavy rains in the month of July, 2010, the bund was over tapped and damaged. The formers under this cheruvu have requested to take up repairs for smooth functioning of the cheruvu. The Dy. Executive Engineer, Irrigation Sub Division, Manthani has inspected the site. Hence it is proposed to take up the improvements to the bund and weir. Further he has stated that an amount of Rs.5,307/- is proposed to the component of jungle clearance to take up it under MGNREGP. Therefore, he has requested to accord administrative approval for the above work under Normal State Plan Funds. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs.18.35 lakhs (Rupees Eighteen lakhs and thirty five thousands only) for the work “FDR to Dapati Cheruvu, Begumpet Village, Kamanpur Mandal, Karimnagar District”. 3. Out of the amount sanctioned at para 2 above, an amount of Rs.18.297 lakhs shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I MH – 101 – Surface Water GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (16) Immediate Restoration of MI sources and FDR Temporarily restoration works – 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure”. 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of jungle clearance under Shelf of Project for taking it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs. 5,300/- for the component of jungle clearance shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly including under Shelf of Project in consultation with Rural Development Department.2 5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW) Department Vide their U.O.No.3523/153/A1/Expr.PW/12 dated 18.2.2012 and PR & RD (RD) Department vide their U.O.No.5542/RD.II/A1/2012, Dated 12-3-2012.
