Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE II / OT4 / SO1 / KNR / FDR / Pedda Cheruvu / Mogilipet / 2011, Dated 30.5.2011 and even No. Dated 28.12.2011. <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted an estimate for Rs. 55.40 lakhs for the work FDR to Pedda Cheruvu, Mogilipet Village, Mallapur Mandal, Karimnagar District” stating that the above source is having an ayacut of 153 acres. During cyclonic heavy rains in the month of August, 2010, the above source is breached near right flank with a length of 30.00 mts. To protect the standing crops under the tank, temporary restoration has been taken duly forming the ring bund. Hence, it is proposed to restore the tank repairs permanently. Further he has stated that an amount of Rs.24,906/- is proposed to the component of jungle clearance to take up it under MGNREGP. Therefore, he has requested to accord administrative approval for the above work under Normal State Plan Funds. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs.55.40 lakhs (Rupees fifty five lakhs and forty thousand only) for the work “FDR to Pedda Cheruvu, Mogilipet Village, Mallapur Mandal,Karimnagar District”. 3. Out of the amount sanctioned at para 2 above, an amount of Rs. 55,15,094/- shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I MH – 101 – Surface Water GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (16) Immediate Restoration of MI sources and FDR Temporarily restoration works – 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure”. 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of jungle clearance under Shelf of Project for taking it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs.24,906/- for the component of jungle clearance shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly including under Shelf of Project in consultation with Rural Development Department.2 5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW) Department Vide their U.O.No.3139/131/A1/Expr.PW/12 dated 16.2.2012 and PR & RD (RD) Department vide their U.O.No.5543/RD.II/A1/2012, Dated 12-3-2012.
