ORDER:
The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B) Roads, Hyderabad, in the letter read above,
has stated that the following are the details regarding the assurances of
Hon’ble CM on 15-09-2011 in Pulla village of Bhimdol mandal, West Godavari
District on the “Construction of 2 bridges across Eluru canal at Unguturu
Narayanapuram and Gundugolanu junction for Rs. 11.00 Crores (each costing
Rs. 5.50 Crores).
i) Construction of HLB across Eluru canal at Km. 0/2 of Chebrole –
Undi road near Narayanapuram.
Chebrolu – Undi road is an important State Highway (SH—
112) in West Godavari District. It connects four mandals i.e.
Unguturu, Nidamarru, Ganapavaram and Undi. It starts from NH-
45 at Narayanapuram and ends at NH-165 at Undi. There is an
existing old narrow damaged bridge across Eluru canal located at
Km. 0/2 of this road. It is an important bridge to transport the
agriculture and Aqua products to near by market yard at Unguturu,
Tadepalligudem and Bhimdolu.
ii) Construction of HLB across Eluru canal at Km. 15/7 of Eluru –
Gundugolanu – Kovvur road near Gundugolanu.
Eluru – Gundugolanu – Kovvur (EGK) road is an important
State Highway road connecting East & West Godavari Districts.
There is an existing old narrow and damaged arch bridge across
Eluru canal located at Km 15/7 of this road. It is an important
bridge to transport the agriculture and acqua products to near by
market yards at Eluru, Bhimadole and Tadepalligudem.
2. The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B) Roads, Hyderabad, has also stated that
considering the condition of the above two bridges and traffic plying on these
bridges it is very much required to reconstruct these bridges in place of
existing weak and narrow bridges. He has therefore, requested the
Government to accord administrative sanction for the above two works in
West Godavari District, under Normal State Plan under the head of account
“5054-04-GH11- MH-800-SH(08)-530-531” i.e. PLAN (SH).
3. Government, after careful examination of the matter in detail, hereby
accord administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.1100.00 Lakhs for the
two works each at a cost of Rs.550.00 lakhs in West Godavari District (i)
Construction of HLB across Eluru canal at Km.0/2 of Chebrole – Undi road near
Narayanapuram and (ii) Construction of HLB across Eluru canal at Km.15/7 of
Eluru – Gundugolanu – Kovvur road near Gundugolanu, under Normal State
Plan under the head of account “5054-COL on Roads & Bridges -04-District
and Other Roads - GH11- Normal State Plan –MH-800-Other Expenditure -
SH(08)- State High way - 530-Major works 531- Other Expenditure”.

4. The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B) Roads, Hyderabad, advised to take action
for Stage-I sanction as per G.O.Ms.No.94, I&CAD Dept., dated:01.07.2003.
5. The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B) Roads, Hyderabad, shall take further action
in the matter.
6. These orders issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW) Dept
vide their U.O.No.0327/17/Expr.Pw/A2/2012, Dated: 27.01.2012.
