From the Engineer-in-Chief, (R&B), Buildings, Hyderabad letter No.TA9/AEE4/MSB/Err.18969/2008, dt.19-9-2009 and dt.12-12-2011. @@@ O R D E R: In the reference 1st read above, Govt. have accorded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.1,88,95,000/- for the construction of 9 sub-treasury office buildings in the state and the work of construction of District Treasury Office building in the premises of Collectorate Complex at Mahaboobnagar in Mahaboobnagar District is one among 9 sub treasury buildings and an amount of Rs.82.00 lakhs earmarked for this work. 2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Engineer-in-Chief, (R&B), Buildings, Hyderabad has submitted that as per the site conditions the estimate for the above work was Technically approved for Rs.135.00 lakhs duly restricting the technical sanction to the extent of administrative sanction of Rs.82.00 lakhs. Since there was no response in tenders for 3 calls the work was let out to the contractor at 4.95% excess over ECV based on common SSR 2008-09 with a stipulation period to complete the work within 15 months. The 1st extension of time was granted up to 30-6-2011 without liquidated damages. He has therefore requested the Government to accord Revised Administrative Sanction for an amount of Rs.135.00 lakhs as against the original Administrative Sanction of Rs.82.00 lakhs, for arranging payment to the contractor for construction of DTO Office Building in the premises of Collectorate Complex at Mahaboobnagar District. 3. The Government after careful examination of the matter hereby accord revised administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.135.00 lakhs (Rupees one crore and thirty five lakhs) as against the original Administrative Sanction of Rs.82.00 lakhs, for construction of DTO Office Building in the premises of Collectorate Complex at Mahaboobnagar District. 4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 3 above, shall be debited to the Head of Account “4059 COL on PW – 60 Other Buildings –GH 051 Construction, GA(11) Normal State Plan -SH(12) Constn. of buildings for treasuries -530- Major Works- 531 Other expenditure”. (PTO)::2:: 5. The Engineer-in-Chief, (R&B), Buildings, Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly and he should also take action as per G.O.Ms.No.94, I&CAD Dept., dt.1-7-2003. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Exp.PW) Dept. vide their U.O.No.4544/182/A2/Exp.PW/12, dt.21-2-2012.
