Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE II/OT4/SO1/KNR/FDR/ Erra Kunta/ Jaggasagar/ 2011, dated 18.07.2011. and even No. 19.1.2012. <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted an estimate for Rs. 28.30 lakhs for the work FDR (permanent repairs) to Erra Kunta, Jaggasagar (V), Metpally (M), Karimnagar District stating that the above kunta is having an ayacut of 85.46 acres. During rainy season of 2010-11, the weir was breached, tank bund was damaged at some places. Sluice was also damaged and irrigation channel banks were damaged and breached at some places. Hence he has proposed to take up permanent repairs to the source. Further he has stated that an amount of 28,080/- for the component of jungle clearance is proposed under MGNREGP. Therefore, he has requested to accord administrative approval for the above work. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs. 28.30 lakhs (Rupees twenty eight lakhs and thirty thousands only) for the work “Flood Damage Repairs (permanent repairs) to Erra Kunta, Jaggasagar Village, Metpally Mandal, Mandal, Karimnagar District” 3. Out of the amount sanctioned at para 2 above, an amount of Rs. 28,01,900/- shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I MH – 101 – Surface Water GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (16) Immediate Restoration of MI sources and FDR Temporarily restoration works – 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure” 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of thick jungle clearance under shelf of project for taking it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs. 28,100/- for the component of thick jungle clearance shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly including under shelf of projects in consultation with Rural Development Department.2 5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW) Department Vide their U.O. No. 3519/149/A1/Expr.PW/12 dated 21.2.2012 and PR & RD (RD) Department vide their U.O.No. 6138/RD II/A1/2012, dated 17.3.2012.
