Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE II/OT4/SO1/KNR-FDR / Impts / FC Oora Cheroo/ Bejjanki (V & M)-2011, dated 28.12.2011. <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted an estimate for Rs. 16.60 lakhs for the work “FDR and Improvements to Feeder Channel to Oora Cheroo, Bejjanki Village and Mandal, Karimnagar District stating that the above tank is having an ayacut of 80 acres and it is fed by two channels nearby and the same were badly damaged and need immediate repairs to the tank. The villagers have also requested to take up repairs to the existing feeder channel duly strengthening of banks, silt removal and construction of guide walls and inlet weirs. Hence he has proposed to take it up permanent repairs to the source. Further he has stated that an amount of 1553/- is proposed for the component of jungle clearance to take up it under MGNREGP. Therefore, he has requested to accord administrative approval for the above work. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs. 16.60 lakhs (Rupees sixteen lakhs and sixty thousands only) for the work “Flood Damage Repairs and Improvements to Feeder Channel to Oora Cheroo, Bejjanki Village and Mandal, Karimnagar District”. 3. Out of the amount sanctioned at para 2 above, an amount of Rs. 16,58,447/- shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I MH – 101 – Surface Water GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (16) Immediate Restoration of MI sources and FDR Temporarily restoration works – 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure” 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of jungle clearance under shelf of project for taking it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs. 1553/- for the component of jungle clearance shall be proposed under MHNREGP funds duly including under shelf of projects in consultation with Rural Development Department. p.t.o.2 -2- 5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW) Department Vide their U.O.
