Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE II/OT4/SO1/KNR-FDR-(PR)-L.T. Kapuram (V)-Malhar Rao (M)-2011, dated 24.12.2011. <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted an estimate for Rs. 180.50 lakhs for the work “FDR (permanent repairs) to Large Tank, KapuramVillage, Malhar Rao Mandal, Karimnagar District stating that the above tank is having an ayacut of 350 acres. The bund was breached due to heavy rains during July, 2010. The President, WUA has requested to take up repairs to the bund, sluice, weir and Irrigation channels for smooth functioning of the tank. Further he has stated that an amount of 51,842/- lakhs is proposed to the component of clearing of thick jungle growth to take up it under MGNREGP. . Therefore, he has requested to accord administrative approval for the above work. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs. 180.50 lakhs (Rupees one hundred and eighty lakhs and fifty thousands only) for the work “Flood Damage Repairs (permanent repairs) to Large Tank, Kapuram Village, Malhar Rao Mandal, Karimnagar District” 3. Out of the amount sanctioned at para 2 above, an amount of Rs. 1,79,98,158/- shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I MH – 101 – Surface Water GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (16) Immediate Restoration of MI sources and FDR Temporarily restoration works – 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure” 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of jungle clearance under shelf of project for taking it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs. 51,842/- for the component of clearing thick jungle growth shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly including under shelf of projects in consultation with Rural Development Department. 5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. p.t.o. -2-2 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW) Department Vide their U.O.
