Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE II/OT4/SO1/ADB/Con. Of Causeway/a-c /s-c /Venkur (V), dated 28.12.2011. <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted an estimate for Rs. 26.60 lakhs for the work “Construction of causeway across the surplus course of silt arresting tank, Venkur (V), Kuntala (M), Adilabad District stating that the above tank is having a settled ayacut of 400 acres. The villagers of Venkur have to cross the surplus course of tank constructed beside the Venkur Village. The children of the village have to cross the stream to attend the school which is in Kuntala village. The farmers are also facing difficulties to cross the stream course. The villagers and Gram Panchayat Members have requested to construct a cause way across the new stream course which is formed during formation of Tank. Hence it is proposed to construct causeway across surplus course of Silt arresting tank of Venkur Village, Kuntala Mandal. Further he has stated that there is no possibility to take up the work under MGNREGP. Therefore, he has requested to accord administrative approval for Rs. 26.60 lakhs under Normal State Plan funds. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs. 26.60 lakhs (Rupees twenty six lakhs and sixty thousand only) for the work ““Construction of causeway across the surplus course of silt arresting tank, Venkur Village, Kuntala Mandal, Adilabad District”. P.T.O. -2- 3. The amount sanctioned at para 2 above, shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I MH – 101 – Surface Water GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (12) Construction & Restoration of MI Sources – 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure”.2 4.
