Read:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad, Letter No.DCE-II/OT3/SO3/RAT/Potluru Pedda Cheruvu/2011-2012, dated 19.12.2011 <<<>>> ORDER:- In the reference read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has stated that the Superintending Engineer, Ongole has submitted the detailed proposal for taking up Railway Affecting Tank improvements to Potluru Pedda Cheruvu of Potluru (V) in Gudluru (M) of Prakasam District for Rs.26.00 lakhs and the same was checked by the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation with the current SSR 2010-11 with the latest Cement rate @ Rs.5,600/- MT and cost is worked out to Rs.25.90 lakhs. Further he has stated that clearing of thick jungle proposed for a quantity of 6,576 Sqm for an amount of Rs.9,206/- may be taken under MGNREGS programme. 2) The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation while submitting the necessary check slip to the proposal has requested the Government to accord administrative approval for an amount of Rs.25.90 lakhs for the works of RAT improvements to Potluru Pedda Cheruvu of Potluru (V) in Gudluru (M) of Prakasam District under Normal Plan under the Head of account “4702 COL- NH-101-SW-GH-11 Normal State Plan –SH(12)-530/531 other Expenditure”. 3) Government after careful examination hereby accord administrative approval to the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, A.P., Hyderabad for an amount of Rs.25.90 lakhs (Rupees twenty File lakhs and Ninety thousands only) for the works of Railway Affecting Tank improvements to Potluru Pedda Cheruvu of Potluru (V) in Gudluru (M) of Prakasam District out of which an amount of Rs.25,80,794/- (Rupees twenty five lakhs and eighty thousand and seven hundred ninety four only) shall be met out of Normal State Funds (PTO)::2:: available with Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, A.P., Hyderabad for the works of RAT improvements to Potluru Pedda Cheruvu of Potluru (V) in Gudluru (M) of Prakasam District. 4) The expenditure sanctioned in para (2) above shall be debited to the Head of account “4702 COL-NH-101-SW-GH-11 Normal State Plan – SH (12) - 530/531 other Expenditure”. 5) The Rural Development Department have agreed for the work of clearing the thick jungle under the shelf of project for taking it up under MGNREGP. Hence expenditure for the remaining amount of Rs.9,206/- for the component of clearing the thick jungle shall be met from out of the MGNREGP funds. 6) The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, A.P., Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly. 7) This orders issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW) Department, vide their U.O.No.2091/81/A1/Exp.PW/2012 dated 23.2.2012 and PR&RD(RD) Department, vide their U.O.No.6142/RD-II/A1/2012, dated:20.03.2012.
