1 GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Minor Irrigation – Warangal District – Improvements to Check Dam across Akher River near Mungimadugu Village, Narsimhulapet Mandal, Warangal District – Administrative approval for Rs.39.57 lakhs – Accorded – Orders – Issued. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = I & CAD (MI T) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 342 Dated 22.3.2012 Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Letter No.DCE.Spl/OT(T) / AEE3 / SCP / WGL / 11, Dated 6.5.2011 and even No. Dated 2.1.2012. <oo> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted an estimate for Rs.40.00 lakhs for the work “Improvements to Check Dam across Akheru River near Mungimadugu Village, Narshimulapet Mandal, Warangal District” stating that the Check Dam across Akheru River near Munigimadugu Village is a MI Source to benefit 200 acres indirect irrigation. During 2006 floods, the check dam out flanked on both sides. The Dy.Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has inspected the work and instructed to restore the work to its original standards. Majority of the ayacutdars under the above schemes belong to SC Community. The ryots have represented for the above work. Further, he has stated that the above work cannot be implemented through MGNREGS funds and no expenditure has been incurred during last 10 years on the above work. Hence, he has requested to accord administrative approval for Rs.40.00 lakhs under Special Component Plan Funds for the above work. 2. Government after careful examination of the proposals, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs.39.57 lakhs (Rupees thirty nine lakhs and fifty seven thousands only) for the work “Improvements to Check Dam across Akheru River near Mungimadugu Village, Narshimulapet Mandal, Warangal District” duly deleting the provision for unforeseen item. 3. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debitable to Head of Account “4702 COL on MI – MH 789 SCP – GH 11 NSP – SH 12 Construction & Restoration of MI Sources – 530 Major Works – 531 Other Expenditure”.
